Position details:

Start Date: Late May or early June (flexible based on individual and team preferences)

End Date: End of July or August, depending on availability and agreement.

Role Overview:

As a Driver, you will primarily handle services related to expedition cruise vessels in

Longyearbyen. While we have a core set of services, flexibility and readiness to frequently take on tasks beyond the standard scope are essential. We expect our team members to be versatile and willing to handle a variety of duties as needed.

Common tasks include:

• Vessel mooring and security operations

• Luggage handling and transport

• Car and truck deliveries

• Loading and unloading operations

• Flight handling

• Firearms training

We’re seeking individuals who:

• Hold a class B driver’s license

• Are proficient in English (Scandinavian language skills are a plus)

• Are service minded and thrive in busy environments with varied tasks

• Have a positive mindset, strong work ethic, and physical fitness

• Excel both independently and in a team, contributing to a friendly work atmosphere

• Are prepared to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts as part of the role

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

• Class C driver’s license

• Forklift certificate

• Wheel loader certificate

• Boat operator’s certificate

• Experience with firearms and polar bear safety
